I was passing through to visit my son johnathans website http://johnathanxaviermarden.memory-of.com/ and i seen the beautiful name of mikayla so i clicked out it and wow what a beautiful little girl with a head full of pretty curls that i wish i had!! your story touched my heart!! i'm very sorry for your loss and i know that know words can take away all your pain, but do know that you are not alone. i lost my 3 month old son to SIDS in february of 2006, 2 years next month, and it still feels like yesterday!! i feel your pain, the loss of a child is the worst pain any parent can go through. we have since had another baby, a baby girl, and she is out healing baby!! she is a mommys girl. she will be 1 year old already next month!! i send my hugs and prayers to you and your family!! our babies are playing together. i'm sure mikayla loved babies!! I was reading my neice's memorial site on here and ran across your story. I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your little girl. She was so beautiful.
I never write letters on the memorial sites but your story hit me and saddened me deeply.
 I too have gone through a terrible loss, my neice was killed by her ex-boyfriend , it happened so sudden and the wounds are still so deep its  been 2 years.
I also experienced my neighbor losing her 2 year old daughter from a pool drowning , and will never forget the screams of a mother or the faces of the parents at the funeral of their child ,  it will haunt me forever.
I have 2 children , and  could never imagine lossing one of them , its a parents worst nightmare. 
I will never forget your story and if I could help another mother by passing along your loss to them, so this kind of an accident will never  happen to another child. 
My prayers are with you.

As I sit here looking thru the pics posted, I came across the 'bday in heaven' photos and couldnt help but cry. 

Its amazing, the love we have for such small, amazing miracles that God has blessed us with.  The amount of time and energy we put into molding them just right could power an entire universe.  And then suddenly, theyre gone. But know that God had plans for her or she wouldnt have been takes when she was.  I believe God puts certain people on this earth for shorter amounts of time because they have a certain job to do and once its done, he takes them home again.  You WILL see your sweet angel again in heaven and know that she will embrace you like she once did so long ago.

May God bless you greatly and help you thru this tragic ending of such a perfect little life. She was a beauty and know that she watches over you every day. I will pray for your family that each day gets easier to deal with and that loves stays just as strong as it was the day you first laid eyes on her.

I don't know you or your family, but when I came across your website, and how beautiful your lil girl is. My heart goes out to and your family. I don't know why things happen the way they do, and I know no words can make you feel better. I lost my daughter it will be 5 years on Feb.10, 2006, and she was 11-1/2 months, she passed from meningitis, and I still with the anger and all the hurt feelings, and everyone tells me it happens for a reason.
